Workshops

AI training for teams

Hands-on workshops for non-technical staff. Your team practices Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot on real work: drafting documents, analyzing spreadsheets, and pulling insights from email and the apps you already use. People leave knowing where AI fits in their work today.

Who it’s for

These workshops are for people who are not in a technical role. Owners, operators, and staff who write, calculate, email, and move work through the tools the business already uses.

Based in Rochester, NY — on-site in Rochester, Buffalo, and Western New York, and remote nationwide.

  • Teams that draft documents, work in spreadsheets, and spend the day in email
  • People who are curious about AI and unsure where it belongs in the day
  • Groups that want practice on Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot, not a lecture about AI in general

What a workshop covers

The session is built from use cases, not a theory outline. We practice the kinds of tasks your staff already do, then name the tasks that should stay with a person.

  • Drafting documents

Start from a rough brief, notes, or an old document and produce a clear draft the team can edit.

  • Spreadsheet analysis

Ask questions of a spreadsheet the team already keeps: comparisons, summaries, and what the numbers are saying.

  • Email and apps

Pull the useful parts out of an email thread or a connected app and turn them into a next step, a list, or a short brief.

Format

You book a discovery call first. That conversation is where we decide whether a workshop is the right next step and which tasks it should cover.

  1. Hands-on. People use Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot during the workshop, on tasks that match their jobs.

  2. One tool per workshop. We pick Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot based on how the team already works.

  3. The agenda comes from your use cases. It is not a generic slide deck.

Outcomes

A workshop is finished when the team can point to specific work, not when a slide deck ends.

  • Each person has practiced AI on work that resembles their own.
  • The team can say where AI fits today, and where it does not.
  • You leave with a shared sense of which tasks are worth doing in Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot this week.

If the work needs tools and workflows set up, see AI implementation and workflow automation. If you are still deciding what is worth doing, see the AI consultant in Rochester page.
